Setting Up Your Mailbox

(Changing Greetings, Changing Passwords,
Listening to Messages):

  1. From any phone, dial your wireless number.

  2. When you hear the recording, Press #.

  3. Enter your temporary password
    (your seven-digit wireless number).

  4. The tutorial will then help you create your
    personal password and personal greeting.

Changing Your Personal Greeting
You can change your Personal Greeting as often as you want. To change your Personal Greeting from the Main Menu, Press 4 for administrative options and then Press
2 for passwords.

Changing Your Password
You can change your password at any time. To change your password, from the Main Menu, Press 4 then 1 and follow the prompts.

To Access Your Voice Mail

Press *123 or dial your 10-digit wireless phone number.

Press # to interrupt greeting – enter your password.

While listening to a message, you can:

Pager Notification
If your mail service includes Pager Notification, you will be paged every time you receive a new Voice Mail message. NOTE: You will need to tell your AT&T Wireless Representative the pager number you want to alert whenever you receive a message.

Message Waiting Indicator
With visual Message Waiting Indicator, you will know at a glance when someone has left a message for you by the appearance of an icon on the display of your wireless phone. The Message Waiting Indicator feature is not included with all calling plans and is subject to availability and select equipment.
